Orlando shooter's wife reportedly under investigation

Orlando shooter Omar Mateen's wife, Noor Salman, is reportedly under the investigation of a federal grand jury, Reuters reports. Salman allegedly knew of her husband's plans to carry out the attack, which killed 49 people, and had scoped out the nightclub where the shooting took place with Mateen earlier this month. "It appears she had some knowledge of what was going on," Sen. Angus King (I-Maine), a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said. "She definitely is, I guess you would say, a person of interest right now and appears to be cooperating and can provide us with some important information," King told CNN.
The couple married in 2011 and had a 3-year-old son. If the federal grand jury finds Salman guilty of wrongdoing, she could face criminal charges as early as this week.
