Donald Trump is seeking top secret security clearances for his children Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Jr., CBS News reports.

In order to gain those clearances now, the Trump children must be designated by the current administration as national security advisers to their father; when he is in the White House, Trump could put the request in on his own. The Trumps would have to go through background checks and fill out security questionnaire SF-86. Nepotism rules keep Trump from hiring his children from working in the White House outright.
