London is notorious for its swiftly rising property prices, but even by its own high standards, some properties seem more overpriced than others. The collection of garages, studios, gardens and sheds below provides a snapshot of how unaffordable parts of London have become.
Kensington garage - £650,000
This garage went on the market for £650,000 – the same price as an eight-bedroom country manor in Northumberland, the Daily Mail notes.
Fulham garden - £120,000
In 2013, this 440-square foot garden in Fulham sold for £120,000. It is probably worth significantly more than that now.
