Shopaholics take note: Black Friday, one of the US's best loved exports, is back, and today is the day for snapping up online and in-store bargains.

Typically reserved for post-Thanksgiving and pre-Christmas shopping in the US, Black Friday has crept over the Atlantic and landed for good on UK shores. Last year, this famously frenetic day of deals overtook Boxing Day for top spot as the day when UK consumers spend the most money, with the discounts on tech products proving to be the most popular. With bargain hunters in mind, here's a roundup of some of the best deals currently on the net:

Macworld highlights deals on Apple products from retailer KRCS, including up to £345 off iMacs, discounts as high as £305 on MacBook Pros, £211 off Mac Minis, and even up to £933 off certain Mac Pros.

For iPads, KRCS is offering around 8 per cent off, and eBay have iPad Air 2s available for £189.99, down from £219.

The Independent also covers some of the discounts on eBay, including a new MacBook Pro for £699.99. They've also found Xbox One consoles, shipped with two games, for £229, and a 500GB Sony Playstation 4, supplied with a game, for £239.99.

The Express claims the best deals of the day can be found over on O2's website. The service provider is hosting a reverse auction called "Price Crash", whereby the longer you wait, the cheaper the item. It claims that a new iPad Air 2 can be snapped up for as little as £1, but considering the nature of reverse auctions, it's unlikely customers will hold their nerve anywhere near long enough to get deals as low as this.

Metro has listed a host of deals from various retailers, including £220 off Toshiba 48-inch 4K TVs at Argos, £600 off a 60-inch Samsung Smart Ultra HD 4K TV at Currys PC World, deals on accessories and Kindle tablets on Amazon's website. It also suggests Apple fans keep a keen eye on John Lewis for deals today.

The Huffington Post lists the discounts that can be found at Tesco today. Top of the list is a Digihome 49-inch large screen LED TV with Freeview for £199 (a saving of £150 and a good deal for those looking for a cheaper TV) and a 10-inch Samsung Android tablet for £99.

Those of you looking for accessories should probably turn your attention to Lifehacker. They've listed some of the best deals on useful items such as cables, speakers, chargers, adapters, and iPhone cases.

According to a survey sponsored by Sage, nearly three out of four holiday shoppers admit to going over budget on their Christmas spending. Shoppers have been warned to buy only what they can afford and also to keep an eye out for counterfeit goods being sold online, the Daily Mirror reports.
