Mayo mayhem on the motorway

A lorry driver has been charged with reckless driving following an accident that sent hundreds of litres of salad dressing and mayonnaise spilling onto a motorway entrance road in Toronto, Canada. The ramp was closed for more than nine hours to clean up the spill, causing traffic chaos for local residents. The driver was unhurt.

'Missing raver' found in swamp

A man who went missing at the end of a three-day outdoor rave in Scranton, Pennsylvania, has been found bogged to the waist in a swamp. Collin Burns was discovered nearly 24 hours after disappearing. He was said to have been "behaving erratically", sitting on the guardrail of a nearby dual-carriageway late on Sunday night. Authorities are unsure how Burns got stuck in the swamp and are investigating whether he took drugs at the festival.

Mother arrested with kids in car boot

A mother has been arrested for travelling in a two-seater sports car with her children in the boot. Jessica Reger was in the passenger seat of the Corvette when it was stopped by police, who had received a 911 call from a person who saw someone placing two children in the car's boot. She was charged with endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person. The driver of the car was also charged.
