Harris, 87, is accused of indecently assaulting three teenage girls in the 1970s and 1980s. He denies all the charges.
Jurors have been made aware of the former TV star's previous conviction in 2014.
Judge Deborah Taylor said granting Harris bail should not impact the decision on the current charges.
He is accused of groping a 16-year-old girl's breasts and putting his hand between her legs after a recording of the ITV show Star Games in 1978.
