Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr announced this week that they are ending their three-year marriage—and the model’s fondness for Justin Bieber may have played a role. The Lord of the Rings actor, 36, began dating Victoria’s Secret model Kerr in 2007, and the pair married in 2010. Their son, Flynn, was born the following year. The couple blamed their busy careers, but a source told Britain’s Sunday People that Kerr’s love of Bieber’s music was also an “issue” in their marriage. Kerr, 30, had reportedly taught their son to say “Bieber fever,” and even partied with the 19-year-old pop icon last year after a fashion show. “Orlando heard that there had been some flirting going on, and he wasn’t exactly thrilled about it,” said the source.
Chris Brown is checking into an anger-management rehab facility after being accused of another assault. The R&B singer was charged with a misdemeanor this week for his alleged involvement in an -early-morning fight outside the W Hotel in the nation’s capital that left a man hospitalized. Police say the victim, Parker Isaac Adams, jumped into a photo that Brown was taking with two female fans when the singer said, “I’m not down with that gay s---. I feel like boxing.” Adams claims that both Brown and his 6-foot-5, 240-pound bodyguard then punched him in the face and broke his nose. Brown denies the charges, but said in a statement he’ll enter rehab to gain “insight into his past and recent behavior.’’ He’s still on probation in California for beating former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. A conviction of the latest charge could be considered a probation violation and lead to a jail sentence.
Julianne Hough issued a groveling apology this week, after dressing in blackface for a Halloween party. The actress was photographed while dressed as the character “Crazy Eyes” from the Netflix show Orange Is the New Black, with dark bronzer, her hair tied into knots, and an orange prison jumpsuit. Hough tweeted her contrition after civil rights groups reacted with outrage. “I realize my costume hurt and offended people and I truly apologize,” she wrote.
