The daily gossip: Jon Hamm needs to shave three times a day, and more
5 top pieces of celebrity gossip — from the upcoming Murder, She Wrote reboot to the incongruous Duck Dynasty iPhone game
1. Jon Hamm needs to shave three times a day
If you somehow needed more proof that Jon Hamm is manliest man on the planet, take it from his makeup artist: According to Mad Men's Lana Horochowski, the actor needs to be shaved no less than three times a day. "For so long, they were all so clean-shaven," said Horochowski in an interview with OK! Magazine. "We shoot such long hours, and for Jon [Hamm], we shave sometimes two, three times a day." It takes Horochowski a lot of extra effort to keep Don Draper looking so fresh — but then again, that's what the money is for. [OK! Magazine]

2. There's a Murder, She Wrote reboot on the way
In its never-ending quest to move its ratings from "terrible" to "marginally less terrible," NBC has adopted a novel strategy: Regurgitate one of the most successful shows in TV history. The network has announced plans to reboot the popular series, which follows a mystery writer cum amateur detective, with Octavia Spencer replacing Angela Lansbury in the lead role. If you're skeptical about a Lansbury-less Murder, She Wrote, don't worry; Deadline says that "the new Murder, She Wrote will likely keep the popular theme music of the original series." Because why do anything original when you can just rip off what worked a decade ago? [Deadline]

When Charlie Hunnam quit the upcoming film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, many wondered what actor could fill the sweaty leather pants he left behind. We finally have an answer: Jamie Dornan, a former Calvin Klein model who's best known for playing a sociopathic killer on The Fall. Fans of the popular book series can now look forward to seeing Dornan in the film next year, unless he quits and the producers replace him with some other interchangeable handsome broody guy. 4. Duck Dynasty is now an iPhone game
A&E has attracted record audiences with Duck Dynasty, a series about a wealthy family that eschews technology in favor of Mother Nature. So why not celebrate that success with an iPhone game that's diametrically opposed to everything fans like about Duck Dynasty? The just-released iPhone game, Battle of the Beards, promises to turn its players from "yuppies into rednecks" — because there's nothing more redneck than playing an iPhone game about the great outdoors instead of walking outside and experiencing it. 5. Anchorman 2 is getting its very own Ben & Jerry's flavor
The marketing blitz for Anchorman 2 has officially kicked into high gear, and anyone who wants to read Ron Burgundy's autobiography while gorging on thematically appropriate junk food finally has an option. Ben & Jerry's has announced the impending release of "Scotchy Scotch Scotch," an ice cream named after that scene in which Ron Burgundy poured a bunch of alcohol into his mouth in the first Anchorman. The company is quick to clarify that the butterscotch-flavored "Scotchy Scotch Scotch" doesn't actually contain any alcohol, so anyone who goes on an ice cream binge shouldn't have too much trouble staying classy.
