The daily gossip: Paris Hilton and Lil Wayne collaborated on an extremely dirty song, and more
5 top pieces of celebrity gossip — from Seth Rogen's Sausage Party to an announcement that makes Fox's remake of Broadchurch even more pointless
1. Paris Hilton and Lil Wayne collaborated on an extremely dirty new song
Before there was Kim Kardashian or Farrah Abraham, there was Paris Hilton, who was an early pioneer in the field of "making a sex tape to become quickly and inexplicably famous." But while Paris Hilton's star has fallen precipitously since the heights of The Simple Life and The Hottie and the Nottie, the hotel heiress has a plan to get back on top: A bizarre, extremely dirty musical collaboration with Lil Wayne called "Good Times." Though the full song won't be released until next week, TMZ has a brief sample available to stream — and trust me, 43 seconds is more than enough. [TMZ]

2. Justin Bieber's bodyguards carried him up the Great Wall of China
There are occasional perks to being an internationally famous teen pop star — like, say, a visit the Great Wall of China. But Justin Bieber's bodyguards took his visit to the next level by carrying him up the stairs of the Great Wall, where they presumably put him down and dropped peeled grapes into his mouth. The young singer's refusal to walk up a flight of stairs might seem a little ostentatious, but in his defense, he probably hadn't had his daily nap yet. [Daily News]

Today, in sentences I never thought I'd write and you never thought you'd read: Seth Rogen has announced plans to star in an R-rated animated comedy about an anthropomorphic sausage on a quest to "discover the truth about his existence" on the 4th of July. Perhaps inevitably, the movie will be called Sausage Party — if only because a "wiener" joke would have been a little too obvious. [The Film Stage]

4. David Tennant will star in the American remake of Broadchurch
When Fox announced it was remaking the hit British drama Broadchurch, many critics wondered what kind of actor could possibly replace David Tennant's highly acclaimed performance in the original series aired on BBC America. Fortunately, Fox has found the perfect answer: David Tennant. TV Line reports that Tennant will play a character "virtually identical to his UK counterpart" in the original series, though he'll affect an American accent for the role — because everyone knows it's impossible for Americans to understand British accents. That's why Downton Abbey was such a flop here. [TV Line]

5. Ted 2 will hit theaters in June 2015
Because there's no end to the stories you can tell about a grown man and his profane teddy bear — particularly when the last story you told about a grown man and his profane teddy bear grossed almost $550 million — Universal has announced that Ted 2, the sequel to last year's comedy mega-hit, will arrive in theaters in June 2015. Few details about Ted 2 have been announced, though it's presumed the sequel will feature Mark Wahlberg and the Seth MacFarlane-voiced teddy bear getting high and talking about '80s pop culture — but like, again.
