Obama and Benjamin Netanyahu share a good laugh at Congress' expense

President Obama arrived in Tel Aviv on Wednesday, on his first visit to Israel since taking office in 2009. There has been much discussion over whether Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu can repair their often strained relationship, and the two leaders appeared to get off on the right foot — albeit at Congress' expense. In the video above, Obama, grinning broadly, can be heard telling Netanyahu, "It's good to get away from Congress." Netanyahu jumps in with a very hearty chuckle.
Sure, dissing Congress is the political equivalent of talking about the weather when you have nothing else in common. But even baby steps are important — which, ironically, gives us all something to thank Congress for. Keep up the good work, guys!
