Rihanna’s crazy love
Rihanna doesn’t care what everyone thinks. She’s resumed her romance with Chris Brown anyway.
Rihanna doesn’t care what everyone thinks, said Josh Eells in Rolling Stone. She’s resumed her romance with Chris Brown anyway. In 2009, Rihanna split from Brown after he viciously assaulted her during an argument, and left her bruised, bloodied, and unconscious on a Los Angeles sidewalk. The two R&B singers started seeing each other again last year, and she recently announced they were a couple, causing outrage among fans and critics. “I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” she says, “and I wasn’t going to let anyone’s opinion get in the way of that.” The 24-year-old understands why people think she’s crazy for letting Brown back in her life. “When you add up the pieces from the outside, it’s not the cutest puzzle in the world. But it’s different now. We don’t have those arguments anymore. We value each other. He’s not the monster everybody thinks. He’s giving and loving. And he’s fun to be around. That’s what I love about him—he always makes me laugh.” But what if Brown turns violent again? “If he gives me that, I just walk away. He doesn’t have that luxury of f---ing up again. That’s not an option.”
