The magazine based its estimate on Murphy's salary relative to the box-office performance of his three most recent films — generously leaving Meet Dave and The Adventures of Pluto Nash out of its analysis.

The normally unimpeachable integrity of the reality TV genre was called into question on Monday night when professional famous person Kristin Cavallari admitted that her MTV reality series The Hills, which went off the air in 2010, was staged. "Fake relationships, fake fights [… ] But it was fun, 'cause you're acting," said Cavallari on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, according to The Huffington Post. The fakeness of the people on the show was, presumably, real.
3. Nick Lachey gets thrown out of NFL game, may or may not be proud about it
Former 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey was thrown out of a Cincinnati Bengals-San Diego Chargers game for heckling — and, perhaps, for fighting, says TMZ, which obtained a totally inscrutable video of the incident. Shortly after being ejected, Lachey tweeted, "Just got kicked out of the chargers stadium and couldn't be prouder!" In a statement released today, Lachey's rep said that "Nick isn't proud of what happened," leaving gossip columnists everywhere to guess at the unfathomable complexities buried in the pop star's heart.
4. Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez hold hands
Today in Bieber: The teen pop star and perennially on-again/off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez may be on again. Bieber and Gomez were "seen holding hands backstage at KIIS-FM's Jingle Ball in Los Angeles," report the hardworking journalists at E! Online, forging onward in their noble quest to breathlessly dissect every circumstantial scrap of Jelena evidence.
5. Michael Richards, Kirstie Alley set to star in TV Land sitcom Giant Baby
Now that Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus has officially vanquished the Seinfeld curse, Michael Richards — who, despite his best wishes, will always be better-known as Cosmo Kramer — is taking on his own sitcom for TV Land, which will reportedly be titled Giant Baby. The Associated Press reports that Richards will play the limo driver of Kirstie Alley's character. Sadly, Giant Baby has nothing to do with the beloved big-screen comedy Honey, I Blew Up The Kid.
