Gossip: Douglas Kennedy
The son of Robert F. Kennedy was charged with harassment and child endangerment after an altercation with nurses caring for his newborn son.
Douglas Kennedy, son of Robert F. Kennedy, was charged last week with harassment and child endangerment following an altercation with maternity-ward nurses caring for his newborn son, said the New York Daily News. Kennedy, 44, who works as a reporter for Fox News, allegedly kicked one nurse in the groin and twisted another’s wrist when they tried to prevent him from taking the 3-day-old infant out of the hospital. Kennedy claims he was merely taking the child “out for a walk” and defended himself and the baby when nurses tried to snatch the baby away from him. “Nobody should try to grab a baby from a parent’s arms,” said Kennedy in a statement.
