Gossip: Ashton Kutcher, Charlie Sheen, Hugh Grant, Chuck Lorre
Kutcher will replace Charlie Sheen on the hit show Two and a Half Men. Hugh Grant reportedly backed out of negotiations for the role.
CBS executives have hired Ashton Kutcher to replace Charlie Sheen on the hit show Two and a Half Men. Kutcher, 33, who got the job after Hugh Grant reportedly backed out of negotiations, will make $750,000 per episode, less than Sheen’s $2 million per episode paycheck. Sheen, 45, reacted with more bitter words for his former bosses. “Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton,” said Sheen, referring to producer Chuck Lorre. “There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there.”
