Former major league pitcher and current Atlanta Braves pitching coach Roger McDowell was suspended for two weeks after making gay slurs and threatening fans prior to a recent game in San Francisco. McDowell, 50, allegedly taunted three men who were sitting together with homophobic comments and simulated sex with a baseball bat. When another fan sitting with his 9-year-old daughter complained about McDowell’s behavior, the former relief pitcher came at him with a bat, asking, “How much are your teeth worth?”
