A former high-ranking member of the Church of Scientology has accused the church’s leader, David Miscavige, of secretly videotaping “confessionals” featuring Tom Cruise and then playing them for his friends, said Radaronline.com. Marty Rathbun says he was ordered by Miscavige to film Cruise during “auditing” sessions he underwent in 2001 after his split with Nicole Kidman. Rathbun says Miscavige then played the videos “in his personal lounge” for friends while “sipping scotch and joking about the content of Tom’s confessionals.” The church has denied any wrongdoing by Miscavige.
