51% of Americans say the news media is providing “too much coverage” of the Democratic presidential campaign, up from 36% who held that view in January. But a majority also believes that the coverage has generally been fair to the candidates, with 52% saying Barack Obama has gotten fair treatment, while 57% say Hillary Clinton has been treated fairly.
