Good Day, Bad Day
Familiar tastes, value judgments
GOOD DAY FOR: Familiar tastes, after the FDA concluded that meat and milk products from healthy cloned animals and their offspring are as safe as those from normal animals. BAD DAY FOR: Value judgments, as California scientists have found that people enjoy a bottle of wine marked at $90 more than the same bottle priced at $10. “Even more intriguingly,” the researchers said, “changing the price at which an energy drink is purchased can influence the ability to solve puzzles.” (CNet News)
