The U.S. dollar hit a new record low against a basket of six currencies this morning, in its weakest showing since the modern currency regime was implemented in the early 1970s. The greenback weakened to $1.4966 against the euro, before strengthening a bit. (Reuters) Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen said Denmark would vote within the next four years on whether to replace the krone with the euro, a move Danes rejected in 1993 and 2000.
