School murder plot foiled

Four teenage boys were arrested on terrorism charges last week, after police uncovered an elaborate plot to massacre 25 people in a New Jersey high school cafeteria. Investigators said the attack was to start with a food fight. A gunshot was to send everyone diving to the floor, before the boys executed specific students and teachers. Students at Winslow Township High School had heard rumors and warned administrators. “We heard it was going to be like Columbine,” said sophomore Chuck Sigwart, 16. The suspects—three of them Winslow students—were reportedly “goths” who had been teased for wearing nail polish and trench coats. The father of one suspect said the kids were just “having a little wild time,” and never intended to carry out the attack.
