Al Qaida agent

Mainz, Germany
German police arrested an al Qaida–trained Iraqi this week, on suspicion of recruiting suicide bombers for the Iraqi insurgency. Ibrahim Mohammed K. trained with Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan, the police said, and fought U.S. forces there for a year after the 9/11 attacks. He was then dispatched to Europe to recruit suicide bombers to target U.S. forces in Iraq. A Palestinian, said to be one of his recruits, was also arrested. Both men were captured in Mainz, a city that President Bush is scheduled to visit during his trip to Europe next month. But police said there was no indication the men were planning any attack there.
