Bushs souvenir

President Bush keeps Saddam Hussein’s pistol as a war trophy in the Oval Office, Time reported this week. The fallen dictator was clutching the gun when U.S. soldiers pulled him out of the spider hole where he was hiding in Iraq. Bush reportedly tells visitors that Saddam’s side arm wasn’t even loaded. The GIs had the pistol mounted and presented it to Bush. “He really liked showing it off,” one recent visitor said. “He was really proud of it.” Bush keeps the souvenir on display in his study—the one where former president Bill Clinton held trysts with Monica Lewinsky.
