Forbes unveiled its annual list of the 400 wealthiest individuals in the U.S., and 82 billionaires didn’t make the cut. A cool $1.3 billion was needed to crack the list, now in its 25th year. In 1982, the first person to top the list was shipping magnate Daniel Ludwig, then worth $2 billion. Bill Gates tops this year’s list—for the 14th straight time—with $59 billion. (USA Today)
