Anthony Joshua tells Tyson Fury: stop talking, start fighting
Former Olympic gold medallist also hopes that an undisputed title fight offer to Deontay Wilder will curb the American’s ‘whining’
Anthony Joshua’s war of words with his British rival Tyson Fury continues to rage. The world champion has told Fury to stop “commentating” and “get motivated” for a return to the boxing ring.
Last month Joshua beat New Zealand’s Joseph Parker on points to add the WBO belt to his IBF and WBA titles. After the title fight in Cardiff, Fury – the former WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO champion – mocked Joshua by saying he was the “true king” of heavyweight boxing.
After beating Parker, Joshua said he would like to face Fury or set up a title fight with Deontay Wilder to decide who is the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

But Fury has not been in the ring since 2015. Until he makes a comeback, Joshua believes his rival should keep quiet.
Meanwhile, Joshua says his team are preparing a “very good” offer that he hopes will stop WBC champion Wilder from “whining”.
Joshua said: “I want that fight, no doubt about it. He was very vocal about wanting the fight before I was, because my objective was to accumulate every single one of the belts.
“Now I have done that, Wilder’s my 100% attention. We’re about to make another offer to Wilder’s team – a very good offer that should create a lot of interest.
“Hopefully that will stop a lot of his talking and whining, and he can step up to the plate.”
