1. Taylor Swift gets her 1st movie role since Cats
You know the greatest films of all time were never made, but David O. Russell's star-studded new one will be. Taylor Swift has reportedly landed a role in the Silver Linings Playbook director's next movie, joining an insanely stacked cast consisting of Margot Robbie, Christian Bale, John David Washington, Rami Malek, Zoe Saldana, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Mike Myers, Robert De Niro, Michael Shannon, and Timothy Olyphant. Absolutely no plot details have been revealed, but with a cast like that, who even needs them? This, of course, will be Swift's first film role since her turn as Bombalurina in the disastrous Cats movie. Long story short, let's hope her cinematic follow-up isn't as bad a time.

2. After walking across America, Mike Posner summits Mt. Everest
Mike Posner proved he's cooler than all of us on Tuesday when he reached the summit of Mt. Everest. The singer tweeted he'd topped Earth's highest peak and is descending today. Posner spent his pandemic downtime in Colorado training for the climb, following his 2019 Walk Across America in which he trekked from New Jersey to California and got the inspiration for his current hike. "My walk was about me finding myself," Posner said. But he wants his climb "to be about others," so he's raising funds for the Detroit Justice Center in honor of his late father. He's just shy of his $250,000 goal, but perhaps by the time he's back at sea level he'll have reached his goal and found inspiration for his next incredible feat.

3. Emma Stone didn't break her shoulder at a Spice Girls concert
Emma Stone did spice up her life by attending a Spice Girls concert, but no Emma Stones were harmed in the process. The Cruella star on The Ellen DeGeneres Show addressed a rumor that she broke her shoulder after falling off someone's shoulders at a Spice Girls concert in 2019, prompting Cruella filming to be delayed. It turns out, she broke her shoulder at a house party the night before the concert. "It was like a waxed floor in this house, and I slipped, and my arm went back behind me," she said. Sure, but can't we all agree that the Spice Girls concert version is a way better story? It's not too late to take this explanation back, Emma.

4. Lil Uzi Vert’s pink diamond implant is noticeably absent from his forehead
Lil Uzi Vert's forehead is looking a little less glamorous these days. The rapper, who infamously embedded a $24 million pink diamond into his forehead because he'd lose it if it were on a ring (duh), has been spotted sans forehead bling. The diamond does not star in his new Calvin Klein campaign, nor his latest appearances on Instagram. He hasn't acknowledged the missing accessory, but previously showed signs of trouble in a bloody video with the caption: "If I don't get [the diamond] took out the right way I could die," before updating fans that he was "good." If Lil Uzi Vert doesn't tell us where it went, it might be a case for Inspector Clouseau.

5. Chris Hemsworth is absurdly ripped in new Thor set photo
Marvel is bringing in some even bigger guns. Chris Hemsworth marked the end of filming for Thor: Love and Thunder with an Instagram photo, and it's hard to put into words just how jacked he is in it — picture the actor wearing a pair of "Anchor Arms" from SpongeBob Squarepants. "That's a wrap on Thor Love and Thunder, it's also national don't flex day so I thought this super relaxed photo was appropriate," Hemsworth joked. Though he also teased the "bats--- crazy" film in the caption, fans could focus on little else besides Hemsworth's massive arms, and even Shang-Chi actor Simu Liu was taken aback. "Jesus Christ," he wrote, "I need to get in shape."
