1. It's a big day for Kathryn Hahn stans

There are few things less surprising than Kathryn Hahn earning a much-deserved Emmy nomination on Tuesday morning for her role as Agatha Harkness on WandaVision, but that didn't stop ecstatic celebrations from erupting on social media. "LIKE GOD INTENDED," tweeted BuzzFeed TV editor Nora Dominick. Adding to the excitement, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige teased this week that Hahn's return "within the MCU, it can't come soon enough. Let's put it that way." Overall, WandaVision earned 23 Emmy nominations, with Netflix's The Crown and Disney's The Mandalorian tying for the most nominations with 24 each. Read more about this year's nominees here.

2. How Bernie Sanders helped Megan Fox and MGK's romance blossom

It's not easy to find your twin flame. It's even harder to keep that flame going. When Machine Gun Kelly was feeling insecure about his relationship with Megan Fox, he turned to Bernie Sanders — sort of. In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Fox revealed this is Kelly's first relationship, so when Fox went to Bulgaria to film a movie for 6 weeks, Kelly got nervous. He lost his passport while riding his motorcycle on a freeway, and he couldn't just go get a new one due to the pandemic, she explained. "He went through Bernie Sanders finally to get a passport and he came to see me," Fox said. But by the time he got the passport and arrived in Bulgaria, they only had three days together before Fox was set to return to the U.S. But when you're that in love, every second counts.

4. Joanna Gaines won't let Chip buy her a fancier wedding ring

There's nothing like being on a reality TV show to send a celebrity couple's relationship south — just look at Jon & Kate Plus 8, or Flip or Flop's Tarek and Christina El Moussa. But divorce is "not really an option" for Chip and Joanna Gaines, whose long-awaited Magnolia Network will begin streaming Thursday. "One thing that I would say is our superpower is that Jo and I are not quitters," Chip, who's been married to Joanna for 18 years, told Access Hollywood. "Throwing in the towel is not something honestly that ever even comes to mind." Joanna likewise agreed their fame hasn't changed the fundamentals of their relationship; she even turned down Chip's proposal to upgrade her wedding ring. To her, the original represents "a guy working his butt off so I could get this ring … And I said, 'Don't touch my diamond.'"

5. Mj Rodriguez becomes 1st transgender performer nominated for a major acting Emmy

Mj Rodriguez has already made history at this year's Emmys. Rodriguez was nominated at the 2021 Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performance on Pose. This made her the first transgender performer to ever be nominated in one of the major lead acting categories at the Emmys. Rodriguez, in fact, became just the third transgender actor ever nominated for an Emmy; previously, Laverne Cox was nominated in Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role on Orange Is the New Black, while Rain Valdez was nominated last year in Outstanding Actress In A Short Form Comedy or Drama Series for Razor Tongue. Rodriguez could become the first transgender performer to ever win an Emmy.
