1. Diane Sawyer kind of wants to take Ted Lasso up on that date

Diane Sawyer is down to date a fictional soccer coach, she's confirmed. On Friday, the second season of Ted Lasso premiered on Apple TV+, and in the first episode, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) asks Ted (Jason Sudeikis), "What do you say to a cocktail?" Ted replies, "The same thing I'd say to Diane Sawyer if she ever asked me out on a date: yes, please." Sawyer is apparently a fan of the show, since on Sunday she tweeted out the clip with the caption: "Dear @TedLasso — I'm in. Your move." Ted then "replied" on Twitter, writing, "Oh my … you've got me more on my heels than Lady Gaga at the Met Gala. Any chance you like biscuits?" Ted Lasso season three is gonna be great.

2. J.Lo finally acknowledges that Bennifer is a thing

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck haven't made much of an effort to hide their rekindled relationship (after all, "kissing at Nobu" is not exactly subtle). But the pair are now Instagram official after J.Lo posted a picture of herself smooching her former ex over her birthday weekend. The pic marks the first time Bennifer has publicly acknowledged that they're back together, which is a big deal since it was only last week that Lopez was blithely ignoring Hoda Kotb's nosy questions about the relationship. Perhaps it's another sign of how seriously the couple is taking their reunion, although let's not get carried away: Lopez "didn't make the kiss shot the first post in her carousel of pictures, but rather made it the fourth and final shot," Jamie Stelter said by way of Brian Stelter — meaning the couple still isn't "'grid-official' yet."

3. Kanye West is living in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Forget simply renting out stadiums for a night or jetting off to Wyoming for musical inspiration. Kanye West has pulled a Phantom of the Opera and moved into Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. West held a Donda listening party there last Thursday, and was "so inspired by the crowd" that he decided to stay there until the ever-delayed album is complete. West isn't just hiding out in the locker room though. Stadium events are happening per usual, resulting in strange images of the rapper lurking around. When not haunting sporting events, West is spending time in the living quarters and studio he created, and eating meals from his chef. August 6 is the new album release goal, suggesting Ye might be at his new digs until then.

4. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner clash over Legos

Even the world's coolest couple has their low moments. While staying home during the pandemic, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner got into Legos. "My wife and I probably built 10 monstrous Legos," Jonas admitted. Alas, distraction came for the singer. It wasn't making music or worrying about the global pandemic, but Fortnite that did him in. "At first we argued about it and then it was like, she loves her organization and it's completely different from the way I would build it: 'You do you; I'll be here for support,'" he said. His form of support included making cocktails. Then they successfully built the Batmobile and the Harry Potter Wizarding World and all was well.

5. Issa Rae snuck off and got married

Issa Rae casually let it slip on Monday that she got married in a lavish wedding in France. "A) Impromptu photo shoot in a custom @verawanggang dress," Rae quipped in the caption. "B) My girls came to help me, but they all coincidentally had on the same dress! They were sooooo embarrassed. C) Then I took a few flicks with Somebody's Husband." Of course, "somebody's husband" happens to be her longtime boyfriend, businessman Louis Diame, though Rae is so private about her personal life that many fans had never seen or heard of him. "Issa Rae is a true African queen for officially revealing her man in a wedding day photo. Like … exactly," tweeted writer Bolu Babalola.
