1. Drake rents out Dodger Stadium for low-key date night
"World Series attitude, champagne bottle life." Drake decided to take his own lyrics literally, and rented out Dodger Stadium for a dinner date, complete with a personal bartender. The rapper was spotted on the third-base line at a white table covered with flowers and food, accompanied by model Johanna Leia. This outing might explain why he's been attending so many high school basketball games: Leia's son plays on the Sierra Canyon team with Bronny James, LeBron James' son, and Drake was spotted sitting next to her. Though not an original idea (Kanye West did it first), Drake upped the ante by renting out the stadium for a simple date night, not even a proposal.
2. Britney Spears' sister Jamie Lynn is writing a memoir
She must confess, she's got a lot to say. Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney Spears' sister and Zoey 101 star, is writing a memoir, due early next year. The book seems to have been originally titled Southern Roots, but was switched to I Must Confess: Family, Fame, and Figuring it Out, borrowing an iconic line from her sister's hit song, "Oops! ... I Did It Again." The memoir tells an "unfiltered story about being a child star, becoming a teen mom, the years she stepped away from the spotlight, the terrifying ATV accident that threatened her daughter's life." Jamie Lynn has made headlines recently for her comments on Britney's conservatorship, confirming she's not on the singer's payroll, and asking fans to leave her "broke-ass alone." Maybe this book will help out with that last part.

3. Florence Pugh's character in Black Widow breaks profane new ground for the MCU
Captain America definitely wouldn't approve of the language in Black Widow, the latest Marvel film out Friday. The Marvel Cinematic Universe tends to keep its scripts pretty kid-friendly, although that hasn't stopped a few naughty words from sneaking in over the years. But aside from a couple of exclamations of "son of a b---h", Peter Quill calling Ronan the Accuser a "b---h," and Fury shutting Spider-Man down with a "b---h, please," the B-word has almost never been directed derogatorily at a female character in the MCU. In Black Widow, though, Florence Pugh's character slips in a "suchka" directed at her sister, Natasha Romanoff, which is translated from Russian as "ah, b---h." Used endearingly in the banter between the sisters, rather than as an emasculating insult for a man, the bad word is just one of several ways Black Widow shows how much the MCU and its female characters have grown up.
4. Here's the first look at the Sex and the City sequel series
Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte have officially reunited for one last job. HBO shared the first look at the Sex and the City follow-up series, And Just Like That…, on Friday, giving fans a chance to see Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis returning to their classic roles. What the photo tells us: Miranda is apparently no longer a redhead in her 50s, and the effects of not having Patricia Field return as the costume designer are being felt (shouldn't Carrie's style only have gotten zanier with age?). And while there's a big gaping void where Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones, should be, the image's sloppy photoshopping job makes you wonder why they didn't just paste her in anyways.

5. Lil Wayne clears up marriage rumor 3 months late
Lil Wayne confirmed this week that he did not marry his girlfriend, Denise Bidot, after having initially sparked the rumor back in April. The rapper dispelled the story during an Instagram Live session with Nicki Minaj, who admitted even she'd fallen for his tweet: "The other day, it was some tweets going on … and I texted you and I was like, 'Oh, Congratulations. I can tell you've been in a good mood,'" Minaj said. "And I said, 'Congratulations,' because I thought you had gotten married." Her mistake was understandable since Weezy had tweeted: "Happiest man alive! Today is the beginning of our forever. Forever?? Forever, ever?? FOREVER EVER!!!!! The Carters." But apparently that was all just … about his kids? "I did not get married," Lil Wayne clarified. "I said 'The Carters,' and girl, that's my d--n sons, that's my sons' little name of their little group." Capisce?
