Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner may be dating

Timothee Chalamet has allegedly been keeping up with the Kardashians — one in particular. Since last week, a wild rumor has been making the rounds that the Dune star is dating Kylie Jenner. It popped up on the gossip Instagram account Deuxmoi, and fans were blown away by the baffling pairing. There wasn't much evidence to support the rumor initially, but now it seems there's really something to it. First, TMZ reported Jenner's car was spotted in the driveway of Chalamet's Beverly Hills home on Thursday. A second report from TMZ then described how Jenner and Chalamet appear to have had a "low-key taco date" in her car last Friday. They have hung out "a couple of times," a source confirmed to Us Weekly, adding that they "have really good chemistry," and Jenner is "open to seeing where things go." It's another big win for those who predict the next big celebrity couple by picking two random names out of a hat.

Matt Damon was a terrible roommate, according to Ben Affleck

Mr. Ripley's talents don't include cleaning, according to his former roommate. On The Late Late Show, Ben Affleck looked back on his time being roommates with Matt Damon, revealing the man is so messy that "I would not suggest living with him." Indeed, Affleck explained that for years, he and his brother Casey were forced to clean up after Damon, who didn't seem to understand that "when you finish with something, it has to be washed or thrown away." Eventually, Affleck and his brother got so annoyed, they went on a "sit-down strike" and stopped cleaning up after Damon to see how far he'd let the situation deteriorate. The answer? Pretty darn far. According to Affleck, they went "two weeks without touching the apartment" before coming home and finding Damon "surrounded by concentric circles of garbage," including pizza boxes and a week-and-a-half old container of sushi that was crawling with maggots. How about not leaving them apples on the floor, Matt?

David Arquette experienced 'lots of FOMO' seeing 'Scream VI'

We can all relate to a fear of missing out … on being repeatedly stabbed. David Arquette opened up to Variety about his complicated set of emotions about seeing last month's Scream VI after his character was killed off in the franchise's previous film. "It was hard for me to do it, but I also knew I wanted to see it," Arquette said. The actor played Dewey in every Scream movie from the 1996 original through the 2022 revival, and he was part of the so-called "big three" with Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox. But after narrowly avoiding death many times, Dewey was finally murdered by Ghostface in the fifth movie last year. Campbell then exited the series over a salary dispute, though Cox returned for the latest entry. Arquette told Variety he did end up seeing Scream VI and "loved it," but at the same time, "It was sad. I had lots of FOMO." If only he hadn't said "I'll be right back."

Elijah Wood is 'surprised' new 'Lord of the Rings' movies are happening

One does not simply announce new Lord of the Rings films without Elijah Wood sharing his thoughts. The Frodo actor spoke with GQ about the recent news that new Lord of the Rings movies are in the works at Warner Bros. Discovery, saying he's "fascinated," "excited," and "surprised." But Wood also expressed hope that these movies won't simply be cynical cash grabs. "Obviously at the core of that, is a desire to make a lot of money," he said. "It's not that a bunch of executives are like, 'Let's make really awesome art.'" But he added that the original Lord of the Rings trilogy "came out of a passion for these books and wanting to see them realized," so he hopes the new ones will have the "same motivating factor" and "reverence" for the material. Listen, a man can dream, right?

Quentin Tarantino explains why sex is 'not part of my vision of cinema'

Quentin Tarantino is dipping his toe into the movie sex scenes discourse. While speaking with Diari ARA (via Variety), the director discussed why his movies generally don't have sex scenes in them, give or take that hilariously quick one in Jackie Brown. "It's true, sex is not part of my vision of cinema," Tarantino said. "And the truth is that, in real life, it's a pain to shoot sex scenes. Everyone is very tense." The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood filmmaker continued that "if it was already a bit problematic" to shoot sex scenes before, "now it is even more so," adding, "If there had ever been a sex scene that was essential to the story, I would have, but so far it hasn't been necessary." Tarantino plans to direct just one more movie before retiring, and his final film will be about a movie critic — thereby ensuring he won't have to break his "no sex scenes" rule.
