1. Netflix's live 'Love is Blind' reunion was a complete disaster

Love means sometimes having to say you're sorry for a disastrous live stream. Netflix held one of its first live events on Sunday night, the reunion special of its dating show Love is Blind, and it was an unmitigated disaster. Frustrated fans were left waiting for more than an hour after the event failed to start at the scheduled time thanks to technical difficulties, and even when it finally began, many viewers still weren't able to watch. Amid the ensuing online meltdown, Netflix said it was "incredibly sorry" that the night "did not turn out as we had planned" and by early Monday promised the special would be streaming later in the day. The whole thing was such a catastrophe that Netflix's rivals started getting in on the dunking party, with the Blockbuster Twitter account essentially wondering if we miss them yet. Cable TV, perhaps we treated you too harshly.
