BELLFIELD JURY DISCHARGED OVER MEDIA COVERAGEThe media reaction to the conviciton of Levi Bellfield for the murder of Millie Dowler has led to the discharge of the jury, which was still considering another attempted abduction charge against him. The judge, Mr Justice Wilkie, said the coverage could lead to contempt charges. Bellfield, who is already in jail for two other murders, was sentenced to life for killing Dowler in 2002. Milly Dowler’s family were treated shamefully LAURA ROBSON OUT OF WIMBLEDON Laura Robson is out of Wimbledon after a gutsy performance against the number five seed Maria Sharapova. The British teenager was a break up in the first set but ended up losing a tie-break and her Russian opponent took the second 6-3. SITE CRASHES AS MORE OLYMPIC TICKETS GO ON SALE The London 2012 website crashed almost immediately this morning when the second round of ticket sales for next year's Olympics opened at 6am. The first-come first-served sale will be open for 10 days, but many of the 2.3m tickets available had been snapped up by the afternoon.
