RATKO MLADIC IN ISOLATION IN THE HAGUEFormer Bosnian Serb army chief Ratko Mladic is being held an isolation cell in The Hague after being extradited from Belgrade. The 69 year-old 'Butcher of Bosnia' faces the UN war crimes tribunal on charges including the massacre of 7,500 Muslim men and boys at Srebrenica. So far he has been "very co-operative" with the court and requires no urgent medical attention although steps have been taken to speed up his trial. The Care Quality Commission apologised, admitting that it had ignored previous complaints, but the government has ordered a review. Hospital owners Castlebeck suspended an additional 13 staff. THousands miss out on olympic ticketsUp to 250,000 people have missed out on tickets to the 2012 Olympics, including Boris Johnson, mayor of the host city London, and cyclist Bradley Wiggins, who could be competing. There were 20 million applications for 6.6 million tickets from 1.8 million people. Some did get lucky and one man had to extend his credit limit after winning £11,000 worth of tickets after bidding for a total of £36,000. Johnson and Wiggins miss out on Olympic tickets CONRAD BLACK COULD RETURN TO JAILFormer Daily Telegraph owner Conrad Black, convicted of defrauding his shareholders, could be heading back to jail after losing an appeal to the US Supreme Court. He was released on bail pending the appeal last July after serving two years of a six-year term. He will now be re-sentenced in June. German agriculture minister, Ilse Aigner, said the north of the country was worst affected and cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce appeared to be to blame.
