BODIES FROM AIR FRANCE PLANE FOUND UNDER ATLANTICAlmost two years after Air France flight 447 disappeared over the Atlantic, bodies and wreckage have been found two-and-a-half miles below the sea. Investigators say that the "vast majority" of the aircraft, including its engines, has been discovered by undersea robots. The wreckage contains the bodies of many of the 228 passengers and crew, but the black box flight recorder is still missing. OBAMA LAUNCHES RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGNPresident Barack Obama has today formally announced that he will be running for re-election in November 2012. He kicked off his election campaign online, with an email, several tweets and the unveiling of a new website, emphasising that "the work of laying the foundation for our campaign must start today". The move will allow him to begin fundraising. GADDAFI ENVOY MEETS GREEK PRIME MINISTER Col Gaddafi has sent Abdulati al-Obeidi, acting foreign minister since Moussa Koussa's defection, to Athens, where he met with Greek prime minister George Papandreou last night. A Greek official said Abdulati was carrying a message from Gaddafi, raising prospects that the Libyan leader was readying for a ceasefire and exit strategy. Fighting continues around the oil town of Brega. POLICE SUSPECT OMAGH BOMB WAS SEMTEXForensic experts are seeking to identify the explosive used in the car bomb which killed Ronan Kerr, a 25-year-old Roman Catholic policeman, in Omagh on Saturday. If it was Semtex, they can use the explosive's 'signature' to track its origins. No one has claimed responsibility, but the Republican dissident group ONH is suspected. Kerr's mother, Nuala Kerr, appealed for Catholic recruits to the Ulster police "not to be deterred" by the killing. JEREMY CLARKSON DENIES 'SECRET MISTRESS'Jeremy Clarkson has denied a claim that he has been conducting an affair with a Top Gear Live colleague, named by the Daily Mirror as Phillippa Sage, 42. The Sunday Mirror had exposed the alleged affair, claiming Clarkson and his mistress had shared hotel rooms while visiting Australia, South Africa and Norway. Clarkson told reporters: "I'm surprised to find that I'm the new Tiger Woods." Clarkson 'mistress' named as Phillipa Sage, 42 CAMERON 'TO PUT NHS REFORM ON HOLD'David Cameron is preparing to put the controversial NHS reforms on hold in the face of political opposition. The Guardian reports that the delay will run through Easter and possibly for as long as three months. Lib Dem rebels in the coalition are to release demands for 23 changes to the bill. Cameron is said to be "no longer listening" to health secretary Andrew Lansley. David Cameron set to delay NHS reforms bill FA TO RULE ON WAYNE ROONEY'S OUTBURSTWayne Rooney was waiting to discover today whether he faces disciplinary action after he yelled "Fuck" directly at a TV camera while celebrating his hat-trick against West Ham on Saturday. The outburst prompted an on-air apology from broadcaster Sky Sports who were showing the match live and, later, an apology from the player who said "emotions were running high". Alex Ferguson and Wayne Rooney: two peas in a pod PEOPLE 'DON'T WANT TO RETIRE AT 65' The retirement age could be pushed to 70 and beyond in the anticipated pension reforms which will include a £140 flat-rate pension. Iain Duncan Smith, work and pensions secretary, claimed that as longevity increases, most people want to - and should - work beyond 65. The claim was ridiculed by critics. CIVILIANS MASSACRED IN IVORY COAST ADVANCE Bodies are reported to litter the streets of Abidjan as gun battles rage for the fourth day in president-elect Alassane Ouattara's attempt to oust Laurent Gbagbo, who refuses to concede power. UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon is "concerned and alarmed" at a reported massacre of as many as 1,000 civilians in the western town of Duekoue as Ouattara's forces advanced towards Abidjan.
