Mick Schumacher has no problem being compared to his father Michael Schumacher and does not feel any pressure to follow in the footsteps of the Formula 1 icon.
The 19-year-old won the European Formula 3 title in 2018 and this season he is competing in Formula 2 where he will drive for the Prema Racing team.
As well as F2 Schumacher Jnr has signed for the driver academy at Ferrari, the team where his father won five of his record seven F1 world titles.

In a video released by Prema, Schumacher said: “Being compared to my father was never a problem for me. It’s pretty simple. For me, being compared to the best driver in F1 history is the goal you want to achieve. I feel honoured to be compared to him because I can learn and try to improve.”
The BBC reports that the teenager’s work with the Ferrari Driver Academy could see him take part in two F1 tests with the affiliated Alfa Romeo team.
“I can learn very much from Ferrari because they have so much experience and I will want to work with them to achieve the maximum I can,” he said.
“The first impressions I had from Ferrari was very heart-opening, welcoming me in a family which was always part of my family.”
Schumacher will make his F2 debut in the first race of the season in Bahrain from 29-31 March.
