Constipated girl had 100 bubble tea balls in stomach

A girl with constipation found out she had more than 100 tiny bubble tea balls trapped in her stomach. The 14-year-old was taken to hospital after suffering for five days. Scans showed that her body had failed to digest the tiny dark balls, a staple ingredient of the popular drink. A doctor, who said the girl’s abdomen was “bulging”, prescribed laxatives.
Snake causes power cut for thousands
A snake caused a power outage in northern Wyoming that hit around 3,900 electricity customers. The outage occurred on Tuesday when the large bull snake tripped a transformer. Most customers had their power restored in a matter of hours.

Boy, 11, eats five meals a day to save his dad
An 11-year-old boy in China is eating at least five meals a day in a bid to save his dad from leukaemia. The father of Lu Zikuan needs a bone marrow transplant. Zikuan is the only match in his family, but he needs to put on weight before the transplant can be performed. Since starting the diet he has put on 11kg.
