A man in the US has written a lonely hearts ad for his female duck - after a cat ate its fellow feathered friend. “Duck seeking duck,” reads the ad, which is posted on a community bulletin board in Maine. “Lonesome runner duck seeks companion. Partner recently deceased. Serious replies only.”

Villagers refuse to hand over two-headed snake

A two-headed snake has been discovered in an Indian village and locals believe it has mystical meaning. The villagers in Bengal refused to turn the cobra over to the Forest Department because they believe it has holds mythological significance. However, a worker at the Deparment insisted: “This is totally a biological issue.”
