A man in the US has written a lonely hearts ad for his female duck - after a cat ate its fellow feathered friend. “Duck seeking duck,” reads the ad, which is posted on a community bulletin board in Maine. “Lonesome runner duck seeks companion. Partner recently deceased. Serious replies only.”
Airport builds Christmas tree from banned items
An airport in Lithuania has built a Christmas tree out of confiscated items. The festive tree at Vilnius Airport was built using from prohibited items such as scissors, as well as knives, box cutters, lighters and other items. The authorities hope it will remind people not to try to bring banned items onto planes.

Villagers refuse to hand over two-headed snake
A two-headed snake has been discovered in an Indian village and locals believe it has mystical meaning. The villagers in Bengal refused to turn the cobra over to the Forest Department because they believe it has holds mythological significance. However, a worker at the Deparment insisted: “This is totally a biological issue.”
