Doctor says brain stays conscious for days after we die

The human brain stays conscious for some time after you die, according to a neuroscientist. Dr Sam Parnia, director of critical care and resuscitation research at New York University Langone Medical Center, claims that crucial brain cells can take days to die. Dr Parnia insists: “The cells don’t instantly switch from alive to dead.”
‘Green snow’ falls on Russia’s ‘meteor city’
“Green snow” has fallen on a Russian city causing locals to believe that “space dust” has landed. Residents of Chelyabinsk have been sensitive to weird events since 2013, when a meteor travelling 34,000mph exploded over the city. However, local authorities have concluded that the strange coloured snow is probably the result of dust being blown out of a nearby granite quarry.

Man asks judge permission for sword fight with ex-wife
A man asked an Iowa judge to let him engage in a sword fight with his ex-wife and her lawyer so that he can “rend their souls” from their bodies. David Ostrom said that his former wife and her lawyer have “destroyed” him legally. He asked the judge to let them “resolve our disputes on the field of battle, legally”. He has also requested a 12-week pause so he can secure Japanese samurai swords.
