Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani could be on his way to a Premier League club this summer.
Italian outlet Calciomercato reports that the 32-year-old Uruguayan is “intent” on playing in England’s top-flight.

De Ligt to partner Van Dijk at Anfield?
Former Ajax and Netherlands star Mario Melchiot believes that Liverpool should sign Matthijs de Ligt and partner him in defence with international team-mate Virgil van Dijk. Ajax captain De Ligt, 19, leads his side in the Champions League semi-finals on Tuesday night against Tottenham and has been linked with a number of Europe’s biggest clubs including Barcelona and Manchester United. Melchiot said: “The way he’s playing right now, I think if Liverpool were smart they’ll go after him. De Ligt and Van Dijk, those two together would be a great partnership.” (Daily Express)
Rio set to return?
Manchester United are linked with a host of players this summer but one person they could bring in is a new sporting director. Sky Sports says that former United and England defender Rio Ferdinand is on the club’s shortlist.
Summer scramble for Tielemans
Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham have joined the £40m race to sign Belgium star Youri Tielemans. The Monaco midfielder is currently on loan at Leicester City, who are keen on signing him on a permanent deal. (Daily Star)
Ndombele in demand
According to reports in Spain Real Madrid have opened talks with Lyon regarding a move for Tanguy Ndombele. The 22-year-old midfielder, who is valued at £60m, is also linked with Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Manchester United and Manchester City. (Sky Sports)
Juve eye Otamendi
Nicolas Otamendi looks set to leave Manchester City this summer and has been linked with West Ham and Wolves. Italian champions Juventus are also interested in the Argentine defender. (Daily Star)
Fraser ready for a big move
Scotland international Ryan Fraser is ready to quit Bournemouth because he wants to test himself at a top-six club. Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea could be interested in the winger. (Daily Mirror)
Inter in Danilo talks
Inter Milan will continue to have talks with Manchester City over a move for defender Danilo. The Brazilian could switch to the Serie A club in an £18m deal. (Daily Mail)
