Everton have struggled to replace Romelu Lukaku and see Vardy, 31, as the ideal player to boost their strikeforce. The Mirror says Vardy would “would jump at a chance” to move to Merseyside.

Eden Hazard: Chelsea to Real Madrid

The Daily Mail says that Eden Hazard is stalling on a new contract at Chelsea because he wants a move to Real Madrid. The Belgian playmaker is frustrated at Stamford Bridge and hopes Real boss Zinedine Zidane will make a move this summer.

David de Gea: Manchester United to Real Madrid

According to Spanish publication Don Balon, and reported by the Daily Star, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez would sign Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea “this week” if given the chance. Real have been long-time suitors of the 27-year-old but it was last week reported that De Gea will be offered a £350,000-a-week deal to stay at United.

Ryan Sessegnon: Fulham to Manchester City

Manchester City have joined the race to sign Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon, says The Sun. The 17-year-old has been superb in the Championship this season and has been the subject of interest from Manchester United and Tottenham. Now City are set to enter the running for the left-sided star, who is worth £40m.

Jorginho: Napoli to Arsenal/Man Utd/Man City

Napoli midfielder Jorginho is a summer transfer target for Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City. The Sun says that the 26-year-old would cost in the region of £60m after impressing in Napoli’s Serie A title challenge this season.

Jonathan Tah: Bayer Leverkusen to Tottenham

Spurs are lining up Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah as a replacement for Toby Alderweireld. The Daily Mirror says that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is preparing for Alderweireld’s exit and scouts have been to watch the £35m-rated Tah on several occasions.

Everton line up Wenger

Arsene Wenger may be under pressure at Arsenal, but if the Frenchman is sacked by the Gunners then he could find work at Everton. According to the Daily Star, Everton owner Farhad Moshiri feels Wenger is the “ideal candidate” to revive the Merseyside club’s fortunes.

Arsenal and Everton to battle for Arteta

While the Star says that Wenger is a target for Everton, the Daily Mirror reports that the Merseysiders and Arsenal will battle to land Mikel Arteta as their new manager in the summer. Arteta, 35, is currently Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City but played for both Everton and Arsenal.

Mahrez: I will give everything for Leicester

Riyad Mahrez admits that the collapse of his transfer to Manchester City was a “difficult situation”, but the winger says he will continue to “give everything” to Leicester City. Mahrez, who scored a 97th-minute free-kick in the 1-1 draw against Bournemouth on Saturday, told The Daily Telegraph: “It was a difficult situation but, while I am here, I will give everything for the club - that’s how I am.”
