Somebody call Nicholas Sparks. Louisiana couple Emily "Mim" and Lannie "Poops" Webb, married for 73 years, died at their home within just hours of each other on January 2, Fox affiliate KADN reports. They were 92 and 99 years old, respectively.

Married in 1941 in Lafayette, Louisiana, Lannie and Emily were together for just a year before Lannie was drafted into the military. Lannie was stationed in Alaska for more than two years while Emily worked at a Charity Hospital in Louisiana. The two eventually reunited and moved back to Lafayette, where they spent the remainder of their years together. Read the full obituary for the Webbs at KADN.
