Pakistan arrests several suspects in Peshawar school massacre
Pakistani police have arrested several people suspected of facilitating the terrorist attack on a Peshawar school last week. The killing spree left at least 141 people dead.
The seven assailants were apparently killed in the assault. But officials believe the Pakistani Taliban, which claimed credit for the massacre, is planning another "savage and inhuman" attack, BBC News reports.
The Pakistani Taliban said the Peshawar attack was revenge for an army offensive in the northwest region of Pakistan, near the Afghanistan border. After the Peshawar tragedy, Pakistan removed the ban on its death penalty and has executed six men.
