This is why you shouldn't make a wine spritzer with your SodaStream

SodaStream, manufacturer of the eponymous at-home carbonated beverage machine, is having a rough go of things lately: The company's sales are declining as people avoid sugary soda drinks, and it faced a barrage of criticism for operating a factory in an international law-flouting Israeli West Bank settlement.

Unfortunately, SodaStream's resurrection will not come in the form of a refreshing wine spritzer.

YouTube user Larry G and his son decided to make a little homemade Lambrusco, using a bottle of red and their trusty SodaStream. As father goads son to "keep holding" the gas infusion button, the youngster presciently warns Dad, "It's gonna explode!" And then it does:
