John Boehner warns Obama not to thumb his nose at Congress

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Thursday picked up the same line used one day prior by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), warning President Obama to not "poison the well" by spurning Congress and acting unilaterally.
"He's going to burn himself if he continues to go down this path," Boehner said in his first press conference since the midterms handed the GOP decisive victories in the House and Senate.
Obama has said he will act on immigration reform because Congress has not. Yet when asked if he could guarantee the president an immigration bill, Boehner deflected the question and said he would first need to speak to his caucus.
