Sen. Mitch McConnell: 'There is no possibility of a government shutdown'
Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) spoke to Time on Monday about what he would do if Republicans gained control of the Senate. In the interview, published Wednesday, McConnell assured the U.S. that another government shutdown won't happen.
"There is no possibility of a government shutdown," he said, adding, "I'm the guy that gets us out of government shutdowns."
McConnell also said that he isn't planning a full repeal of ObamaCare and that his "top priority" is maintaining GOP control of the Senate in 2016. Read the full interview over at Time.
