Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office accused of meddling with corruption investigation

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's (D) administration repeatedly interfered with the work of the governor's own corruption commission, at times derailing inquiries that could have reflected poorly on them, according to a New York Times report.

Cuomo established the commission last summer, but it "was hobbled almost from the outset by demands from the governor's office." In one instance, a top Cuomo aide allegedly squashed an inquiry into a media firm that had done work for the governor. More from the Times:
