A hundred students from 30 different states brought their best work to the White House Science Fair on Tuesday. President Obama took a close look at many of the exhibits, ABC News reports, including an app that makes it easier for disabled students to get from class to class and a robot that helps with icy water search-and-rescue. "As a society, we have to celebrate outstanding work by young people in science at least as much as we do Super Bowl winners," he said. Check out some photos from the event below. --Catherine Garcia
