Paris train station evacuated after bomb threat

Paris police evacuated the Gare de l'Est station on Friday after a bomb threat, The Associated Press reports.

AP adds that the station was closed as a "precaution" after a suspicious package was found. Le Monde reports that a bomb disposal unit was sent to the train station.

Paris police also arrested 12 people with alleged ties to last week's Charlie Hebdo attacks. Defense officials told AP that France is also under an "unprecedented cyber assault," with 19,000 cyberattacks since the terrorist attacks last week.
