Barber gives ill-behaved children 'old man haircut'
A barber in Georgia has what he thinks is the solution to bad behavior: The "Benjamin Button Special."
Russell Frederick, owner of A-1 Kutz barbershop in Snellville, came up with the 'do after his 12-year-old son started acting up in school "like an old foolish man," he told CNN. So, he shaved his head, showed him a picture of an older man with a pronounced bald spot, and said, "'This is your next one if you keep it up.' He didn't want it, so he got his act together."
Frederick announced his new offering on his Facebook page, writing, "So, you wanna act grown...well now you can look grown, too." Reaction has been mixed, with some parents saying discipline should happen at home, not the barbershop, while one mother who took her son in for the cut said his behavior has improved tremendously. Frederick thinks that today, people need to be creative with their discipline, since "you can't whup 'em anymore, like we used to, as children. It works." —Catherine Garcia
