They may be 20 years older, but on Wayne Campbell and Garth look pretty much the same as they did when Mike Myers and Dana Carvey created the characters in the 1990s. On Saturday Nights Live's 40th birthday celebration Sunday night, Wayne and Garth were back in their Aurora basement with the same outfits and new jokes. Their Top 10 list was about SNL, and under No. 10, "Live Show," they got their first dig in at Kanye West, one of the musical guests. It wasn't their last.

On No. 6, "Musical Guests," Wayne listed some of the amazing musicians SNL has hosted. "I think Beck was one of the best, even better than Beyoncé," Garth said. No. 5 was "Kanye sit down." It wasn't their last barb, and presumably Kanye was in on the gag. They sort of overplay the Kanye thing, but No. 3 is pretty good and the characters were a welcome addition to the long show. Phil Hartman's voice at the beginning only made it sadder that he wasn't alive for the party. —Peter Weber
