Seth Meyers has some regrets about the SNL 40 after-party

Like Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers didn't get enough sleep last night. On Monday night's Late Night, Meyers gave his own version of what sounds like a truly amazing after-party for Saturday Night Live's 40th anniversary blowout. He had fun, of course, but also some regrets. Probably not about coming to work hungover after an hour and a half's sleep, but about his conversation with Beyoncé, for example, and everyone he didn't see.
Before he got married, Meyers said, all his married friends said the same thing about the wedding: "You are going to be so angry when the night's over, because everyone you love is there, and you'll have all these amazing moments, but you'll wake up the next morning full of regret, because you just didn't talk to everyone you wanted to talk to." When he wakes up rested on Tuesday, we'll see how his wife appreciated him comparing the SNL after-party to his wedding night. Also, watch for Meyers' colorful, awe-filled descriptions of watching Prince and, seriously, Michael Bolton perform at the party. —Peter Weber
